In the Democratic Republic of Congo a passenger of a routine flight from the nations capitol to a regional airport sneaked a baby crocodile on to the plane. During the flight the croc was stowed under the passengers seat in a gym bag. Allegedly the man was planning on selling the animal after he landed. The tragedy is that only one man survived the events that unfolded.
The innocent crocodile bit through the gym bag and caused a stampede on the small aircraft. All the passengers ran to one side of the plane and caused the plane to spin and crash into a house.
One man survived the crash. He told this tale to the investigators.
The lone survivor wasn't the only thing that was alive after the crash, it was reported that the crocodile was found alive in the wreckage. The locals took care of the baby crocodile by killing him with a machete.
